Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all aspects of assigned project delivery. This includes liaising with customers, capturing requirements, supporting the project team, and collaborating with colleagues to meet commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the design lead in establishing project objectives, procedures, and data collection methods.
* Prepare updates on project activities, manpower, and equipment needs.
* Create and manage testing protocols to monitor project performance.
* Communicate schedule changes promptly and work closely with stakeholders to meet requirements.
* Maintain oversight of budget, schedule, and project progress; report regularly to the project head.
* Manage compliance, quality control, and assurance standards.
* Handle engineering change requests and product improvements, taking full accountability for changes on released products.
* Review and update technical documentation, including manuals, BoMs, installation guides, and checklists.
* Provide engineering support during design, installation, and commissioning phases.
* Support the supply chain with engineering details, testing, and order specifications.
* Facilitate new processes within the team.
* Act as the focal point during early development phases of new products.
* Lead urgent engineering projects to address technical issues and prevent delays.
* Manage all project phases and deliverables, including briefs, plans, schedules, budgets, and tracking registers.
* Provide reliable solutions for technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Support sales during quotation phases with proposals and cost estimates.
* Manage risks, actions, issues, and decisions.
* Track project progress in terms of time, cost, and quality.
* Prepare and present financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and invoicing profiles.
* Manage resource demand and participate in resource planning.
* Manage stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
* Handle subcontractor management, including issuing tenders and RFQs.
* Control scope and contract changes with customers.
* Oversee configuration management of project deliverables.
* Report issues, risks, and potential problems early and clearly.
* Support the implementation of best practices in project management and suggest process improvements.
* Maintain broad knowledge of engineering, automation solutions, project management, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
* Minimum HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering (desirable).
* Project Management qualification.
Key Skills & Abilities:
* Ability to understand technical details across disciplines related to machinery automation and software, especially interfaces between disciplines.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in engineering, controls, or electrical environments; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
* Knowledge of MSP or similar tools.
* Excellent communication skills for building key relationships.
* Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Experience managing multiple customers and suppliers concurrently.
* Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and customer expectations.
* Confident and capable in client-facing roles.
* Attention to detail.
