What you'll be doing:
Plan and manage all maintenance work across our new plastic recycling facility in Shrewsbury ensuring compliance with contractual, legal and procedural requirements.
Manage and coordinate maintenance contractors and subcontractors including conducting due diligence audits and SLA reviews
Create and maintain planned preventative maintenance schedules and asset registers while managing work order processes, including breakdown responses and KPI monitoring.
Oversee engineering stores management, including stock control, safety-critical inventory and monthly reconciliation
Direct and coordinate facilities estate maintenance operations, managing a maintenance team and liaising with internal/external customers
Monitor and control maintenance budgets, identifying cost reduction opportunities and providing financial summaries.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in facilities/maintenance management with proven track record of managing maintenance operations and contractors
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and processes, with IOSH Managing Safely qualification preferred
Experience using CMMS software and PPM systems, with knowledge of building management systems (BMS)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage effectively at all levels up to Director level
