We are presently recruiting for a Finance Director for our clients, a group of Hospitals in the Western Caribbean. You will Lead the financial management of hospital facilities, ensuring robust governance, operational efficiency, and sustainable profitability. You will act as a strategic partner to hospital leadership, driving revenue optimization, cost control, and finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee financial accounting, reporting, and month-/year-end close processes.
* Prepare management reports, dashboards, and statutory financial statements.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
* Manage revenue cycle: billing, collections, accounts receivable, and payer relationships.
* Monitor revenue performance, billing accuracy, and payer mix trends.
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; analyze variances and provide actionable insights.
* Drive cost optimization initiatives across staffing, supplies, and operations.
* Support strategic initiatives including hospital expansion, digital finance programs, and ERP implementation.
* Lead and develop a multi-location finance team.
* Foster collaboration between finance, clinical, and operational teams.
* Identify financial risks and implement mitigation measures.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Chartered Accountant / CPA / ACCA, educated and trained in either the UK or Ireland ONLY.
* 10+ years’ experience in finance with hospital or healthcare operations experience will only be considered.
* Strong expertise in accounting, reporting, revenue cycle, and cost management.
* Experience in multi-location/shared services finance teams and finance transformation.
* Analytical, strategic, and results-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills
