Reporting directly into the Inspection Manager, your role will involve validating product including complete vehicle assemblies using a variety of measurement tools including CMMs, measurement arms and more traditional measurement equipment against defined acceptance criteria. You'll have the opportunity to use and enhance your skills and knowledge of inspection processes and equipment whilst acting as the main point of dimensional validation within the quality function. You'll never have a boring day, as you work on delivering some of the world's most exciting automotive programmes. Key Responsibilities: Dimensional validation of product Confirmation of tooling and fixture dimensions Management of product movement within inspection area Accurate completion of quality records Work with the Quality and Operations team to collaboratively achieve customer standards Provide support to the wider team in investigating build or component issues Ensure Inspection facility cleanliness standards are maintained at all times Skills: Ability to operate and programme CMM and measurement arms Understanding of a variety of measurement and inspection processes, methodologies and equipment Experience with Polyworks and JT2Go software packages Ability to read and understand 2D drawings Ability to use interpret 3D CAD models and drawings Strong IT skills and ability to record and present data effectively Personal Attributes: Ability to work in a diverse, dynamic and fast-paced environment Excellent team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills Keen attention to detail Problem-solving mentality Ability to sustain and develop team working and team based problem solving Experience Levels: Experience in a low volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive Experience of dealing with suppliers and internal customers Experience of working within an ISO9001 certified business Closing date for applications is December 31st 2023 If you are interested in this position, apply by sending us your cover letter and resume.
