We are supporting a leading industrial engineering client in the search for a Business Development Lead to grow its Food & Beverage business across Northern Europe. This role is responsible for setting the regional approach, supporting local business development teams, and delivering sales growth and profit.
The Role
* Lead the Food & Beverage business development strategy across Northern Europe
* Provide leadership to local Business Development Managers
* Own regional revenue and margin performance for the sector
* Develop and execute a three-year strategic growth plan
* Analyse markets, identify growth opportunities, and prioritise target customers
* Lead key customer engagements, strategic accounts, and major growth initiatives
* Share best practices and drive alignment across countries
* Work closely with Portfolio Management to identify gaps and strengthen the offering
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends
About You
* Degree in Mechanical, Process, Industrial Engineering or similar (preferred)
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing at a managerial level
* Strong influencing and stakeholder leadership skills within matrix organisations
* Strategic, analytical, and commercially minded
* Confident communicator with experience in Food & Beverage or process industries
