We are currently seeking a committed, energetic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join an ambitious, forward-thinking secondary school in High Wycombe. This full-time, permanent role begins January 2026, although an earlier start may be possible for an exceptional candidate. About the Science Department

About the Role
• Teaching general Science at KS3–KS4 with possible KS5 depending on experience
• Delivering high-quality lessons that promote scientific enquiry, practical investigation and critical thinking
• Supporting students through exam preparation, assessments and intervention sessions
• Contributing to extra-curricular STEM clubs, science weeks or competitions
• Working with colleagues to develop innovative resources and curriculum enhancements
• Creating a stimulating, safe and engaging laboratory environment

Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in a Science-related field
• PGCE with QTS
• Strong curriculum knowledge and understanding of practical science
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities
