​ About ANGLE: ANGLE is a world-leading liquid biopsy company commercialising a patent protected platform technology that can capture rare circulating tumour cells (CTCs) from blood, in a minimally invasive way, for downstream analysis. ANGLE's Parsortix® system is FDA cleared for its intended use in metastatic breast cancer and is currently the first and only FDA cleared medical device to harvest intact circulating cancer cells from blood. Parsortix technology comprises a microfluidic device that captures CTCs from blood based on their size and compressibility. CTCs are cancer cells that have detached from the primary tumour and entered the blood circulation, and they play a critical role in initiating metastasis. Once harvested, the CTCs can be comprehensively analysed to provide a wealth of information about the patient’s tumour, advancing cancer research and potentially personalized medicine. This technology has the potential to deliver profound improvements in clinical and health economic outcomes. ANGLE has established a CTC harvest and analysis service from our UK-based Clinical Laboratory based in Guildford for customers worldwide. In alignment with company priorities, we plan to rapidly expand our services to include molecular profiling of CTCs and ctDNA using digital PCR and NGS to add to our image-based assays. ​ Join our Team: This is an exciting time at ANGLE and our team in Guildford are looking for a Product Sales Manager. The Product Sales Manager utilises their sales experience and knowledge of the life-sciences research market and distributor management to drive sales of the Parsortix circulating tumour cell (CTC) system, associated consumable, test kits, and service contracts, ​ to academic, translational researchers, strategic partners, and clinical researchers globally. In your submission, please describe your background and what you can bring to our team along with attaching your resume. ​ Principal Accountabilities: ​ Mapping of the market to allow targeting of academic, translational and clinical researchers globally. Educating the market as to the potential value of liquid biopsy/ CTC research studies and potential role of CTCs in therapy decision Shaping direct communications for target customers as well as supporting marketing team to develop outreach activity Coordination of, and attendance at conferences, thus building technology awareness and building customer relationships. Building relationships with leading cancer researchers in academia and clinical space to raise ANGLE profile and technology awareness Prospecting for new opportunities and developing new leads Using CRM to manage customers down the sales funnel. This may include managing evaluations of the Parsortix system, overseeing training at customer sites and supporting customers to ensure successful evaluation of the technology. Manage existing customer base including Global network of Distributors to ensure they get value from their Parsortix technology and continue to purchase consumables Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks as required. ​ Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Attributes: ​ BSc. in Life Sciences OR an equivalent combination of commercial experience and formal education. Masters or PhD an advantage – particularly in oncology space. Proven successful sales experience, including selling medical devices and/or services into the academic, translational and clinical research market as well as clinical lab market. Preferentially product and services related to liquid biopsy testing within oncology. Distributor management experience Research background a significant advantage; strong understanding of common laboratory analysis techniques (including NGS, PCR, Immunocytochemistry) essential. An eye for detail and commitment to high quality data A flexible, can-do approach to the requirements of the job. ​ Job Requirements: Due to the nature of this role, our requirement is for this position to be Guildford/Field based, with flexibility to work from home at the discretion of the Manager The Job holder will be required to attend regular face to face meetings that will take place at the Guildford office (at least once every two months, or when business demand arises.). The Job holder must be able to travel internationally frequently.
