Your new role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant or Associate Consultant to join a dynamic team in which the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and managing design safety across a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the design process, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
* Provide expert advice on health and safety risks during the design phase.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project safety.
* Oversee a variety of small and large projects
* Support the Associate Director and Director as well as mentor junior colleagues.
* Conduct design reviews and hazard assessments.
* Prepare and maintain pre-construction information and health and safety files.
What you'll need to succeed
* Significant experience as a Principal Designer with a strong understanding of CDM regulations.
* NEBOSH Qualification or other relevant health and safety qualifications.
* Ideally holding CMaPS accreditation.
* Technical qualifications in construction, engineering, or architecture.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with BIM and other design software is a plus.
