Lift Service Engineer
Location: Nationwide (field-based - flexible on location)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience) + overtime + benefits
The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lift Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established engineering business. This is a field-based role offering flexibility on location, ideal for engineers looking for autonomy, varied work, and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on a wide range of lift equipment
* Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards and safety regulations
* Diagnose faults efficiently and implement effective repairs
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation
* Provide a high level of customer service while on-site
* Participate in call-out rota (if applicable)
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (essential)
* Proven experience in lift servicing and maintenance
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
* Good understanding of various lift manufacturers and control systems
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
