Salary:£25,000 to £28,000 p.a. (Dependent on experience) + excellent benefits
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for numbers and a drive to grow your career? We’re looking for anAssistant Management Accountantto join our dynamic SIS Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate, insightful financial reporting.
About the Role
Reporting directly to theFinance Business Partner, you’ll support the production of management accounts and provide ad hoc reporting to the FP&A team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative environment where your contributions truly matter.
As our Assistant Management Accountant, you will:
* Prepare monthly actuals vs. budget/forecast reports, including variance analysis and commentary.
* Assist with month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, and nominal ledger journals.
* Collaborate with the FP&A team to ensure accurate revenue and cost tracking.
* Support balance sheet reconciliations and monthly billing processes.
* Help prepare rights returns for key suppliers.
* Provide timely, ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
We’re seeking someone who is:
* Actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
* Experienced in a similar finance role (preferred).
* Proficient in Excel (advanced level desirable).
* Analytical, organised, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* A strong communicator and team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
