Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Welder to contribute to the Terex Dungannon Fabrication team.

Position: Welder
Location: Dungannon
Reporting to: Production Supervisor
Hours of Work: 39 hours
What you will do
You will play a pivotal role within the welding team; welding steel components used in the manufacturing of screening equipment. This role supports production by ensuring all welded parts meet quality, safety, and engineering standards.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Perform MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and other materials as required.
2. Fabricate screening components such as screen frames, chassis, hoppers, conveyors, guards, and support structures.
3. Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and fabrication blueprints with a high degree of accuracy.
4. Inspect and test cuts and joins, using precision measuring instruments
5. Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
6. Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts
7. Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvements
8. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
9. Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and equipment safety checks.
10. Report any defects or hazards immediately.
What you will bring
11. Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
12. Competency in MIG welding.
13. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
14. Strong understanding of engineering tolerances and fabrication processes.
15. Skilled in using power tools and workshop machinery.
16. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
