Job Description
3. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
4. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
5. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the organisation.
6. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
7. Support audit processes by providing accurate documentation and responses.
8. Provide financial guidance to internal stakeholders to aid decision-making.
9. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconciliations.
10. Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
11. A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
12. Must have experience in financial reporting and compliance within the education sector
13. Strong technical accounting skills with knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
14. Proficiency in financial systems and software.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
