Job Description:
The Planning and Allocation Controller will support the Materials Manager in developing and coordinating production plans to meet customer demand, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
As a Planning and Allocation Controller, you will manage production requirements using the SAGE X3 MRP system, ensuring orders are planned within 48 hours and aligned with manufacturing capacity and customer priorities. You will monitor daily changes, respond quickly to production or customer adjustments, and ensure accurate order tracking and communication.
This Planning and Allocation Controller role requires close collaboration with production and customer service teams, providing updates on priorities, delays, and schedule changes. You will also support costings for component work, contribute to team KPIs, provide team cover when required, and identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency and material utilisation.
The Planning and Allocation Controller will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials from production through to customer delivery.
Skills & Experience:

Experience in production planning, materials planning, or supply chain coordination

Working knowledge of MRP systems (SAGE X3 desirable)
