Domestic Abuse PlayworkerLocation: North LondonHours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday Salary: £15-20 per hour Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children? We're looking for a Sessional Playworker to join our team and deliver safe, fun, and engaging play activities for children living in a refuge setting.This is a rewarding opportunity to work with families affected by domestic abuse, supporting children aged up to 14 through structured and creative play sessions. You'll help promote their wellbeing, build confidence, and offer a safe space where they can express themselves and thrive.Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver a variety of play activities, including arts, games, and enrichment sessions
* Create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all children
* Encourage participation and support children's emotional and social development
* Work alongside support staff to ensure sessions reflect children's needs and interests
About You:
* Experience working with children in play, childcare, youth work, or similar settings
* Understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on children and young people
* Creative, enthusiastic, and confident working independently and in a team
* NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in childcare, playwork, youth work, sports, or creative arts is desirable
