🌱 About the Role:
As a BEMS Consultant, you’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients—delivering expert insights across the full lifecycle of BEMS projects. From initial system surveys and feasibility studies to hands-on commissioning support and performance analysis, you’ll play a key role in optimising building environments for efficiency, comfort, and innovation.
Whether you’re leading a project or collaborating as part of our expert team, your work will directly shape the success of major client initiatives in energy management, controls design, and system integration.
🛠️ What You’ll Do:
* Conduct in-depth system condition surveys and feasibility studies
* Develop concept, scheme, and detailed designs for BEMS and control systems
* Provide application advice, technical specifications, and project tender support
* Manage projects end-to-end, from bid analysis to commissioning and snagging
* Attend FATs, SATs, and witness testing—ensuring system performance meets spec
* Deliver client training, contribute to energy log books, and produce case studies
* Keep your CPD fresh, and share knowledge with clients and your team
* Maintain accurate CRM records for collaboration and visibility across projects
💡 What You Bring:
* Strong BMS/BEMS/iBMS design and control systems commissioning experience
* Expertise in systems like Trend, Tridium, or Niagara etc
* Confident communicator with senior stakeholders, contractors & architects
* Detail-oriented, analytical, and self-driven with a passion for smart technology
* IT-savvy and keen to continuously learn and grow in the field
📚 Qualifications & Experience:
* HNC (minimum) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering (preferred)
* Experience with BMS manufacturers, contractors, integrators, or consultancies
