CRA Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a reputable client within Sheffield. Our client is looking to bring on board a Plot Sales Paralegal to complement their existing team. The successful applicant will play a key role in developing the department for the future.
Plot Sales Paralegal – Role and Responsibilities
* Work as a plot sales paralegal within a busy plot sales team dealing with enquiries.
* Prepare and issue plot sales contract packs and paperwork, including relevant contract/assurance required to deal with plot reservation, based on pre-prepared standard documents following receipt of memorandum of sale.
* Deal with pre‑contract enquiries under supervision where required.
* Liaise with the client and preferred solicitor to approve the draft transfer and estate layout plans.
* Process exchange of contracts.
* Prepare relevant completion statements and undertake completion procedures.
* Use Land Registry online, undertake Land Registry applications and online SDLT returns for the broader Real Estate team.
Qualifications
* 12 months experience in conveyancing (Plot sales or Residential).
* Proven ability to work independently.
* Excellent attention to detail and client care skills.
