Location: Colnbrook, Hours: Monday to Friday – 09:00-17:00 (30 Minutes Lunch), Salary: £28k – £30k
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, confident Finance assistant to support their busy Finance Department with all aspects of the day, ensuring the efficient running of the department in line with month end and reporting deadlines. The role will include Accounts Payable and Account Receivable, as well as assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with billing from the operating system and inputting/uploading of sales invoices into Sage.
* Processing of purchase invoices into Sage.
* Processing of supplier payments.Allocation of supplier and customer receipts.
* Monthly reconciliations between operating systems, including bank statements, debtors and creditor listings.
* Other general ad hoc duties as and when required.
Essential
* GCSE – Minimum A-C Grade in Maths and English or equivalent.
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Must be able to work independently and as part of a larger team with a flexible can do attitude.
* Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet set deadlines.
* Intermediate excel skills.
* Detail Orientated.
Desirable
* 2 years’ experience in similar finance role.
* Experience with Sage and Microsoft Business Central.
* Industry Experience.
