The Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Team covering Brigg, Barton and the Isle are looking for a Senior Social Worker for a permanent position to join our busy team. We work with people aged 18 upwards who are living with mental ill health, learning disabilities and people with neurodiversity. This means that our work is not only incredibly rewarding, but varied and changeable.
The position is full time working over 5 days a week. Please note, this is a progression post with an opportunity to progress to a grade 10 when able to evidence the progression criteria.
The right candidate will be someone who has a social work degree and who are registered with Social Work England. They will be a strong team player, resilient and solution focused, with a proactive approach to work as part of a busy Social Work Team. They will have good IT skills and experience of completing social work supervision, have Practice Educators Award, Approved Mental Health Professional or Best Intertest Assessor qualifications or be willing to work towards them.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and an effective leader. They will be able to provide social work supervision and have experience of social work management.
Our Senior Social Workers are responsible for timely allocation of work, as well as case holding, so having the ability to work under pressure is essential. They will also travel throughout North Lincolnshire independently as we cover all of the North Lincolnshire area. Knowledge of adult social care legislation and frameworks are essential.
