Service Technician
Make a real impact by keeping local farms running smoothly. In this role, you will be be the person customers rely on when their machinery needs expert attention — and you will see the difference your work makes every day.
What you will do
You will work in a busy Service Department, carrying out maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery. Much of your work will take place on customers’ farms, so you will enjoy regular local travel and varied days.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing machinery in the field and at the depot when needed.
• Advising customers on how to get the best performance from their equipment.
• Completing all job reports and admin accurately and on time.
• Supporting pre delivery set-ups on new and used machinery.
• Assisting service specialists when required.
• Following all Health and Safety legislation, company policies, and procedures.
• Taking part in mandatory training to keep your product knowledge and technical skills up to date.
• Acting professionally and representing Ripon Farm Services with positivity and integrity.
• Understanding and following manufacturers’ customer care processes.
A driving licence is required as you will be driving company vehicles and agricultural equipment. Knowledge of agricultural machinery is helpful, but full product and systems training will be provided.

Hours
Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with a 1‑hour unpaid lunch
