Pay: £92.95 per day (dependent on experience could increase)

We’re looking for a dedicated Learning Assistant to join a friendly, welcoming school in Newport. Whether you’re experienced in education or coming from a care, youth work or support background, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils who need an extra helping hand
* Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and classroom preparation
* Supporting pupils with ALN/SEMH needs where required
* Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting independence
* Helping create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment

What we’re looking for:
* Someone patient, nurturing and proactive
* Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults (school or care background welcomed!)
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to build positive relationships
* A genuine passion for supporting pupils’ wellbeing and progress
* DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
