Work Pattern: Monday – Thursday 8.45am – 4.45pm and Friday 8.45am – 4.15pm

Community and Enterprise are looking to appoint an Assistant Engineering Officer within the Street Works team.
Duties include assisting with:
1. Central processing duties for works noticing and associated reporting
2. Co-ordination of Street Works under NRSWA and TSA acts and liaison with the Statutory Undertakers and their Contractors as required
3. Assessing temporary traffic management and issuing appropriate permits
4. Site inspections and monitoring of works including and pre works starts meetings, during operations and on completion of reinstatement
5. Dealing with general enquiries in respect of Street Works and notifications of defects and corresponding accordingly
Potential candidates should have a current SQA HAUC Supervisors Card although consideration will be given to HAUC Operatives who will be trained accordingly. Experience of using the online Scottish Road Works Register (AURORA) is advantageous.
