Meraki Talent are seeking a motivated
Paralegal or Solicitor
to join a leading investment bank based in the heart of Glasgow. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex cross-border financial transactions, provide strategic legal advice, and play a key role in managing legal risk within a dynamic global business.
Key Duties;
* Draft, negotiate and review contracts across securities services, lending, repos, FX and financing activities.
* Provide legal support on business initiatives, product development, and regulatory issues.
* Advise colleagues across legal, business, operations and functions globally.
* Manage execution processes, conditions precedent, and post-execution notices.
* Review netting and collateral opinions, coordinate external counsel, and support governance committees.
* Develop and update precedents, checklists and provide legal training to colleagues.
I am looking to speak to qualified solicitors or experienced paralegals with background in securities services or financial services. Applicants should have strong experience in drafting and negotiating legal agreements. Additionally, applicants should have a proven ability to work with international colleagues and clients on cross-border transactions.
