We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic General Science Teacher to join a dedicated team at a wonderful school. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality science education across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering curiosity and critical thinking in all learners. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as General Science Teacher:
Teach a broad science curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) at KS3 and KS4.
Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and inclusive lessons.
Monitor pupil progress, provide effective feedback, and support student achievement.
Create a positive learning environment where students feel inspired and confident.
Contribute to curriculum development, enrichment activities, and wider school life.
Ideal General Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant science degree.
Strong subject knowledge across all science disciplines.
Experience teaching science in a secondary setting (NQTs/ECTs welcome to apply).
Ability to inspire and engage young people from a range of backgrounds as a General Science Teacher.
Commitment to high standards, creativity in teaching, and continuous improvement.
