The Role
We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering engineering and technical activities across a range of exciting and complex projects.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll manage the delivery of engineering outputs using your process knowledge and technical expertise, while supporting project and client relationships.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
* Leading and delivering mechanical engineering tasks as part of multi-disciplinary teams
* Supporting the effective management of client relationships
* Ensuring the correct application of engineering procedures, codes and standards
* Contributing to project safety assessments and risk management
* Producing, reviewing and approving technical deliverables including calculations, reports, drawings and models
This is a hybrid role, offering 3 days in the Leicester office and 2 days working from home.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working collaboratively in multi-discipline engineering teams
* Ability to work across a range of project types and levels of complexity
* Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with clients and stakeholders
* Ability to identify and manage technical risks
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum HNC/HND in Mechanical or General Engineering (or equivalent experience)
* Significant demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering discipline
* Nuclear experience is not required - we welcome applicants from a wide range of industries
