About the Role
An Outstanding school in Harrow requires a passionate Physical Education Teacher to join their sports department, starting ASAP on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent. You'll deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting students' physical fitness and sports skills.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education Teacher lessons, covering a range of sports and activities.
* Prepare students for sports competitions and assessments.
* Develop students' physical fitness and sports skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and resources.
* Organise and lead sports-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education.
* Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level.
* Strong sports skills and knowledge of sports science.
* Excellent communication and motivational skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
