Temporary CAD Designer Technician
* Salary: 30,000 - 38,000 per annum
* Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire
* Working Arrangement: Office Based
* Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (Monday to Friday) - Flexible
Required Duties
* Support end-to-end mechanical design and engineering of robots and equipment using SolidWorks as instructed
* Create 3D modelling of assemblies and components as instructed
* Produce 2D drawings derived from 3D models (assembly drawings and detail drawings)
* Support design team with documentation and drawing queries
* Collaborate with the design team to prioritise design output
* Work across teams and with external suppliers to resolve design and production issues
Required Work Experience
* Experience creating and maintaining CAD model libraries and drawings (ideally with SolidWorks)
* Experience maintaining designs throughout the product life cycle and into manufacture
* Strong communication skills with the ability to give and receive feedback to inform technical decisions
* Experience modelling, simulating, and detailing precision machined components and complex assemblies
