Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all legal and procedural regulations.
* Perform surface preparations and apply coatings by brush or roller.
* Interpret and follow paint manufacturer's technical and safety data sheets.
* Support and guide team members on application techniques and best practices.
* Ensure high-quality standards in all aspects of surface preparation and coating.
* Maintain clean working areas and ensure all equipment is properly protected.
* Use access equipment such as scaffolding and mobile platforms.
Required Experience & Skills
* Experience working in an Industrial Painting environment
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Desirable: experience on nuclear or construction sites.
* Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing work demands.
* Positive team contributor with a collaborative approach.
* Honest, open, and professional attitude.
Qualifications & Training
* Desirable: Train the Painter
Pay Rates
Bronze Rates. Silver & Gold Available
PAYE - Basic: £16.74; OT1: £22.27; OT2: £27.97
UMBRELLA PAYE - Basic: £21.88; OT1: £28.71; OT2: £36.06
Other Allowances
Taxable lodge allowance for travelling workers:
PAYE - £51.26 per day
UMBRELLA PAYE - £66.64 per day
Taxable travel allowance for travelling workers:
PAYE - £15.00 per day
UMBRELLA PAYE - £19.50 per day
Work Arrangements
38 standard hours a week, 07:30 - 16:00 Monday to Friday, shift and overtime a possibility but not guaranteed.
29 days holiday annually (inclusive of bank holidays)
