Salary: Circa £55,000 - £60,000 FTE (Pro rota £44,594 - £48,648 per annum)
Location: Hybrid Working / Cambridgeshire. This role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with an average of 2-3 days a week in the office as required.

We are seeking a qualified UK solicitor or barrister to join our in-house legal team of 20. The team values high performance and collaborative problem-solving. This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy diverse work and have a strong record in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
Responsibilities:
* Provide pragmatic, business-focused commercial contract advice.
* Draft and negotiate various contracts including construction (NEC3/4), IT, renewable/energy, leasing, supply/purchase, outsourcing, consultancy, NDAs, IP/R&D, guarantees, bonds, etc.
* Collaborate with the Integrated Supply Chain team.

Requirements:
* UK qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in commercial agreements, especially construction contracts (NEC4 preferred), and knowledge of procurement rules.
* Strong team player with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical skills, and commercial acumen.
* IT literate with MS Office skills; full driving license and vehicle access.
