We’re looking for a Lead Technician for Jebel Ali, rresponsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of a team of technicians in the refurbishment, repair & maintenance of Aggreko equipment. Ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently and effectively.

What you’ll do:
6. Ensure the completion of repairs and refurbs on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.
7. Ensure adherence to safety practices and quality standards.
8. Support the manager in the allocation of resources to meet contractual requirements, including job planning and adherance to hours taken on each job.
9. Responsible for testing and analysing equipment upon arrival and before final completions; and final inspection of equipment after repair and prior to release to fleet.
10. Plan the workload to maximise utilisation of the section.
11. Ensure all plant tooling, lifting and measuring equipment is used within the field operation is maintained, calibrated and inspected according to the appropriate procedures.
12. Adhere to safety practices and quality standards.
13. Leading, guiding & supporting a team of technicians
14. Continuous Improvement
15. Conducting quality control checks
16. Managing the schedules and workloads of their team members
17. Collaborating with other departments to ensure proper coordination of work activities and timely completion of tasks.
18. Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to technicians to improve their skills and performance.
19. Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
20. Experience in leading multicultural teams in a workshop or factory-based environment
21. Technically Competent, preferably in Power Generation and HV equipment.
22. Capable of defining, setting and improving standards
23. Holds themselves and others to account
24. Excellent Communication Skills
25. Computer literate
