A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Logistics Officer who will be responsible for supporting the Management Team in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our security logistics operations. The primary focus of the team is to safeguard and facilitate the secure transport of goods, manage inventory with precision, and collaborate across departments to maintain a streamlined and effective workflow that meets the specific needs of the site.

Location: London W2)
Rate of Pay: £15.87 per hour
Hours: Average 42 hours per week
Shifts: 4 On 4 Off - Days
Job Requirements:
2 years experience in logistics, security, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
High levels of customer service at all times.
Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
Smart appearance befitting the company.
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations.
Qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are desirable.
High level of fitness for a hands-on role where you will be on your feet.
Security qualifications such as CCTV, Banksman and Fire Warden are desirable.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and update logistics and security documentation in line with company requirements.
Ensure a satisfactory logistics and security presence is always maintained on site as required by the company representatives.
Deliver the highest standards of customer care when dealing with couriers, contractors, staff, and visitors.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Make informed decisions under pressure.
Liaise with external authorities and services as required.
Ensure the Daily Occurrence Book is maintained correctly and all relevant reports are completed.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure stored items are maintained and recorded accurately.
Maintain all logistics and security equipment and assets onsite, ensuring items are signed out and in correctly.
Be responsible for all staff under direct supervision, ensuring they wear the appropriate personal protective equipment, and are regularly briefed.
Respond accordingly to emergencies and incidents, providing necessary support and assistance to the Head of Logistics and the client.
Confidently write incident and shift reports.
Carry out any reasonable requests made by management.
Be flexible in the approach to daily duties.
