Job Title: Production Leader
Working Pattern: Shift work – 3 shift rotation
Working location: Winsford Onsite full time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Leader to join Rolls-Royce Distributed Generation Systems (RRDGS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Rolls-Royce based in Winsford UK.
As a Production Leader you will be responsible for leading, inspiring and coaching a Production team of Mechanical Fitters and Wiring Technicians within a defined manufacturing cell. You will be accountable for ensuring that customer commitments are met in accordance with agreed HS&E, quality, cost, delivery, people and responsiveness standards.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be part of the RRDGS management team, supporting both existing and future customers across our growing portfolio of electrical switchboard manufacturing with future growth plans into maintenance, repair and overhaul of power packs for the rail industry. This role will provide opportunities to participate in the management of the RRDGS business as we transform and develop into new markets and capabilities.

What You Will Be Doing
Working in our Distributed Generation Systems business, you’ll be leading the teams responsible for assembling new electrical switchboards for highly prestigious projects and for maintaining customer equipment within the broad industries Rolls-Royce serves.
* Focusing on safety and compliance, ensure all Production work follows procedures and meets standards while fostering a safety-first culture.
* Driving a zero-defects mindset by reducing risks, improving processes, and enhancing team skills.
* Leading, developing and motivating a Production team to build a skilled and effective workforce.
* Optimising cost, delivery, and quality to enhance production performance and operational efficiency.
* Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and growth by streamlining processes to drive excellence.
