Salary: £55,000 - £75,000
The Role
An established regional law firm is seeking a Litigation Solicitor (2–5 years’ PQE) to join its growing Dispute Resolution team. This is a fee-earning role requiring the ability to manage a varied caseload of contentious matters with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality legal advice and client service.
The successful candidate will handle cases from instruction through to resolution and contribute to the continued development of client relationships and the wider practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied litigation caseload from instruction to resolution.
* Handle both pre-action and issued proceedings in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
* Advise on disputes including contractual, building, property and landlord & tenant matters.
* Maintain effective client communication and manage expectations throughout matters.
* Ensure compliance with firm procedures, regulatory requirements and risk management processes.
* Supervise and delegate work to trainees and paralegals where appropriate.
* Support business development, networking and client relationship management.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to identify cross-referral opportunities.
Experience & Skills
* 2–5 years’ PQE in litigation or dispute resolution.
* Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
* Experience with property disputes and landlord & tenant matters (knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 and Housing Acts advantageous).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational and case management abilities.
* Commercial awareness and commitment to high standards of client care.
