Location & Hours
Location: Work from home with occasional travel to East Hyde, Bedfordshire.
Hours: This is a permanent, full-time position. We offer flexible and part-time hours if that suits your lifestyle better—just let us know!
Your Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our Natural Resources commercial team, supporting the Water Framework for Thames Water. Your responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with the project delivery team to ensure effective contractual control and cost management across various projects.
* Gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction to project delivery.
* Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts, including procurement, interim, and final account agreements, while negotiating for the best outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold a relevant academic qualification in a construction-related degree.
* Possess a full driving license.
* Have prior experience in a commercial role for a contractor.
* Are familiar with a variety of contract forms.
