Job Title: Quality Engineer Salary: £45,000 - £53,000 Sector: Defence & Aerospace Location: Wool Full Time: Monday - Thursday (8:00am - 5:00pm) Friday (8:00am - 2:00pm) Due to our client's latest expansions within the Defence sector, a new opportunity has opened up for a Quality Engineer to join one of Dorset's leading engineers of diverse products. You will be working on projects from start to finish, using the latest technologies and techniques to manufacture high-quality and sustainable products for Britain's largest Military Aircraft & Marine manufacturers, MOD, and Space/SAT-comms clients. Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities: Assist the Nonconformity review (NCR) process with initial investigation, Provide feedback to Quality, Engineering & Production teams on quality of product and highlight opportunities for improvement. Monitor, maintain, & make continuous improvements the QMS. Compiling First Article Reports in accordance with AS9102. Quality sign off for Manufacturing packs. Auditing of the QMS & associated processes. Produce final release documentation packs and inspection reports for component acceptance. Provide feedback to Quality, Engineering & Production teams on quality of product and highlight opportunities for improvement.
