Overview
11067 - We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a permanent contract at our 314 branch at 6 Tinshill Lane, Leeds, LS16 7AP. Opening hours for our branch are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00. We are seeking an individual who is flexible to work within these branch opening times, has great people skills, and can provide a professional service standard to customers and the Pharmacy Teams.
Responsibilities
* Deliver prescription items promptly and conscientiously to private homes, nursing and residential homes.
* Maintain a high standard of customer service and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand. Work under pressure to deliver prescriptions within the designated time.
* Ensure deliveries are in line with the company’s regulated procedures and attention to detail is maintained.
* Plan and print daily routes in branch before starting deliveries (requires basic computer skills).
* Assist with PR exercises to help increase business (as required).
* Use your own vehicle for this role; ensure your personal insurance allows business use. Contact your insurer to obtain information prior to interviews. Business insurance refers to the vehicle only, not contents. The Company may contribute financially toward the business aspect of insurance upon receipt of documentation showing any increased premium.
Requirements
* Excellent people skills and ability to work as part of a well-established team to ensure high service standards for customers.
* Flexibility to work within branch opening hours.
* Very basic computer skills to plan and print routes.
* Own vehicle with insurance that covers business use (see note in Responsibilities).
* DBS check: All roles are subject to a DBS being undertaken as part of the recruitment process.
Reimbursements and Expenses
* Mileage reimbursement: 40p per mile up to 10,000 miles; 25p per mile thereafter, in line with HMRC guidelines.
* Fuel receipts should be obtained for each visit to the petrol station; mileage claims submitted weekly.
