To support the asbestos removal division by ensuring that company systems and procedures and legislative requirements are being implemented. Assist in helping the company become recognised as a leading supplier of asbestos removal and associated services
Responsibilities
1.1 Be part of a specialised team of asbestos removal personnel working with varied clients and carrying out expert and safe removal of asbestos containing materials in strict accordance with the company safety and removal systems and procedures whilst maintaining and working in line with legislative requirements and best practice.

* The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006
* Asbestos The Licensed Contractors Guide
* ASB 5 Notifications
* Working to the Plan of Work / Method Statement
* Correct Site Set Up
* Pre use Respirator Checks
* Medical Surveillance
* Attending Safety Briefings / meetings when required
* Comply with waste transfer station requirements for asbestos
1.2 Ensure that legislative requirements are always undertaken maintained
1.3 Undergo specific training applicable to on site tasks when required (i.e. MEWPS, Confined Space Training etc)
1.4 Share knowledge and best practice techniques with members of the working team
1.5 Be part of working team, be able to work under supervision, be a team player
