Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As a Class Teacher you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. Purpose of the role of a Class Teacher (see the JD/PS for accountabilities):
To fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teacher’s Pay and Conditions document.
To meet the expectations set out in the Teacher’s Standards

Has qualified teacher status and successful completion of induction year.
Can demonstrate evidence of exemplary classroom practice.
Has knowledge and experience of using a range of strategies to deal with pupil behaviour
Has knowledge of recent developments in learning and teaching
Has the ability to inspire and motivate
Has the ability to take the initiative, be flexible and respond to change.
Demonstrate a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.
