You will be based at the United Utilities Office in Lingley Mere, Warrington, but will occasionally be required to work at our Worsley Head Office Depot.
Working as part of the noticing team and collaborating with the programme team on the New Connections contract.
Satisfaction of customers is measured through a new regulatory measure called D-MeX. You will work closely with the United Utilities programming team and the Network Plus Operational team to improve the D-MeX measure and demonstrate leadership in caring about customer ratings of Network Plus’s Connections services.
Key Responsibilities
* Submitting and obtaining permitting details to meet customer and client scheduled W.O.D.
* Navigating the Street Manager and Aurora management systems.
* Liaising with contract area Managers and Supervisors to ensure permits are correctly processed and understood regarding durations.
* Managing system updates, tracking progress, maintaining accurate data entry, and uploading information into work management systems, with issues recorded and escalated.
* Requesting TTROs, coordinating with third parties for suspensions and closures, and managing permits in real-time.
* Raising purchase orders with the Network Plus procurement team for third-party invoices related to TTROs.
* Participating in daily and weekly programming calls and managing progress to ensure permitting conditions are met.
* Liaising with local authorities and client representatives.
* Coordinating suspensions, closures, and permit transmissions, including opening and closing street work notices and submitting final registrations.
* Identifying street work issues, applying early interventions, and escalating compliance issues as needed.
* Responding to Section 74 charges and fixed penalty offences.
* Running and circulating daily jeopardy reports.
* Monitoring and following up on outstanding issues.
Experience and Qualifications
* Experience in the Utilities sector.
* Experience with Street Manager and Aurora systems, with knowledge of statutory requirements.
* IT and system literacy.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Organisational skills to meet deadlines.
* Understanding of operational activities.
* Exceptional organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Effective planning and organisational skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
Job Type: Full-time, 08:00 – 16:00.
