Job Description:
Virgin Media O2 is seeking an Account Director to join the Critical Network Infrastructure (CNI) account team, responsible for new business and existing revenue for select partners. This role involves maintaining excellent customer relationships, representing VMO2 Fixed Wholesale and our products and services. You will lead virtual teams, ensuring success across pre-sale, delivery, and in-life stages.
We're looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong business development mentality and senior partner leadership skills. Experience in the Wholesale/Network Infrastructure telco market, including key players and macro trends, especially with MNOs, broadcast, and Towercos, is essential.
The ideal candidate has a strong desire to inspire change, a proven sales track record, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A key focus is driving our Net Promoter Score with the support of the virtual team.

The must haves
To be considered, you must have:
* Experience with the Wholesale / Network Infrastructure telco market, key players, macro trends, especially with MNOs, broadcast, Towercos
* Experience leading virtual teams to close multi-million pound (£5M+) strategic deals
* Experience generating opportunities and retaining revenue with large, complex customers (>£5M/year)
* Strong commercial acumen, financial literacy, understanding of P&L and Capex impacts
* Technical knowledge of Fibre and Optical networks and deployment criteria for wholesale partners
* Experience liaising with senior/board level executives (C-level)
* Outstanding sales and account management skills
