As we expand our service offerings across the UK nuclear industry, we're aiming to reach 500 dedicated professionals in 2025.Now's your chance to join a company that's shaping the energy transition — where your expertise will matter, your growth will be supported, and your work will help power generations to come.Framatome is one the main contractors for the construction of Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant, overseeing the design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of primary circuit components.As Framatome installation activities are increasing, building a strong on-site organisation is crucial to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.The Hinkley Point C (HPC) Project is strengthening its on-site team and is seeking a Site Admin Assistant.


Main Responsibilities

* Daily Administration:
o Perform routine administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the site.
o Assist Site Managers with various admin tasks on a daily basis.
o Support the project management team to optimise their activities.
* Training and spreadsheet:
o Ensure Training matrix is kept up to date.
o Organise training for the new starters and ensure evidence of training is gathered and updated on the Training Matrix.
o Ensure Employee list is kept up to date with all new starters and leavers.
o Present Framatome 15minutes induction/welcome pack to new starters
* Visitor Management:
o Book visitors to the site and ensure proper documentation is in place.
o Meet and greet visitors at reception, providing a professional and friendly first impression.
o Escort visitors around the site as required.
o Organising HR1 building visits and requesting site access for visitors.
o Order taxis / transportation when visitors.
* Stationery and Supplies:
o Maintain and manage stationery stocks, placing orders as needed.
o Scanning and printing
* Travel Arrangements:
o Arrange business travel for the management team, including tickets, hotels, taxis, and visas.
o Request car registrations for the car park.
* Event Coordination:
o Coordinate with Framatome, clients, and contractors to organise on-site events, meetings, and training sessions.
o Plan and organise meetings, including booking rooms and ordering catering when necessary.
o Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting as required.
o Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims in accordance with company procedures.
* Onboarding/vetting support when required:
o Liaising with new companies / starters regarding the on-boarding process.
o Liaising with Framatome France to induct and support new French workers through the vetting process.
o Data entry from the latest BPSS into the HPC WIMS database to process the vetting process.
o Ensuring staff are vetted, inducted and competent ready for their works start date to prevent delays to program.
* Plus additional site allowance £6000 subject to T&C's


Profile


Key Skills and Experience:

* Organisational Skills:
o Ability to handle multiple interfaces and work within a transversal organisation.
o Proven experience in managing various administrative tasks efficiently.
* Communication and Collaboration:
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with other administrative staff, management, and clients.
o Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
o Flexible, friendly, and adaptable to changing circumstances and priorities.
o Proactive and dynamic, with a willingness to take on various tasks and responsibilities.
* Technical Proficiency:
o Proficient in using office software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience:
o Previous experience in office administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
o Experience in an international and multicultural environment (highly desirable).
o Knowledge/ experience in WIMS Data Base (desirable but not essential).
* Language Skills:
o Ability to work and interact in French (desirable but not essential).

Additional Information: Site based role (in person) Full-time position with standard working hours, flexibility may be required to meet operational needs.
