Forest Manager
We're working with a well-established and highly respected property consultancy to appoint a Forest Manager as part of their continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and collaborative team, working across a diverse mix of forestry and land management projects.
The Opportunity
This role offers strong variety and the chance to work with a broad client base, including private landowners, estates, and corporate organisations. It would suit a motivated forestry professional looking to develop their career within a progressive and supportive environment.
The Role
You'll be involved in a wide range of forestry and land-based work, including:
* Delivering new woodland creation projects
* Preparing long-term forest design plans and management strategies
* Overseeing timber marketing and harvesting operations
* Managing existing woodland portfolios
* Supporting infrastructure and utility-related projects
* Undertaking environmental surveys and reporting
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have a strong grounding in forestry and a proactive approach to their work. You will likely have:
* A minimum of an HND (or equivalent) in Forestry or a related discipline
* Practical experience in forestry management and operations
* A motivated, enthusiastic and organised approach
* An interest or experience in environmental management (desirable)
