Clark Wood is delighted to be working with a highly respected and growing firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Private Tax Manager to join its successful team in Stamford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional seeking a clear platform for progression within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. The firm offers an outstanding hybrid working policy, with employees only required to attend the office two days per week, providing excellent flexibility and work-life balance.
As a Private Tax Manager, you will manage a varied portfolio of private clients, providing expert advice across areas including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, trusts, income tax, allowances, and incorporation planning. You will play a key role in developing client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value, and supporting the firm's continued growth.
You will also lead and mentor junior team members, helping to develop their technical skills and career progression, while working closely with senior management on complex client matters.
The successful candidate will have:
ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualification.
At least three years' post-qualified experience in private client tax.
Strong technical knowledge across inheritance tax, capital gains tax, trusts, income tax and related planning areas.
Previous experience managing and developing team members.
Excellent organisational and client management skills.
