About the organisation
Nightingale Hammerson is a charitable organisation providing life-enhancing care for the older Jewish people in a warm, connected community that feels like family. We have served the Jewish community for over 185 years providing exceptional holistic and person-centred care through our two care homes Nightingale House (Clapham) and Hammerson House, Wohl Campus (Hampstead).
As a not-for-profit charity, we provide a home for life, regardless of personal finances or evolving healthcare needs and are able to support Residents who may require financial assistance with fees.
We are also immensely proud of our reputation for leadership in Social Care innovation and research. We have been involved in 80+ research studies demonstrating our forward-thinking, evidence-led approach that continually advances the quality of life for all our residents.
Our Reach by Nightingale Hammerson initiative has also created over a 100 online practical advice resources that have been viewed by over 150,000 in the past year alone.
We place a huge emphasis on being at the centre of our local and cultural community, with each home boasting a vibrant café and a full program of community outreach activities that bring many non-residents through our doors each week.
