Job Title: Appeals Handler

Salary: £24,784 per year
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 18:00 (shift pattern within these hours)

Overview
You will manage a caseload of customer appeals, reviewing each case in detail and making fair, informed decisions. This role suits someone who can assess information objectively and communicate outcomes clearly.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage your own caseload of customer appeals from start to finish
* Review evidence, documentation, and case history
* Assess each appeal against company policy and guidelines
* Make clear, reasoned decisions on outcomes
* Communicate decisions to customers in a professional and clear way
* Keep accurate and up-to-date records on internal systems
* Meet productivity and quality targets
* Work with internal teams where needed to gather further information
Skills and Experience
* Strong attention to detail
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to make decisions based on evidence
* Comfortable working with processes and guidelines
* Able to manage workload and prioritise tasks
* Experience in customer service, complaints, or case handling is useful but not required
