SEN Teaching Assistant
* Location: Darlington
* Pay: £13.68 – £16.29 per hour
* Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30
CER is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN school in Darlington.
Whilst a teaching assistant qualification isn’t essential, experience working with children or adults with special educational needs is required as you must have the ability to build a rapport with these students quickly.
The role is initially temporary but has the potential to go permanent for the correct applicant.
The school, based in Darlington, is an alternative provision for students with special educational needs, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
