About Our Client
My client is a Retailer based in Walsall, seeking an experienced ER Advisor to join the HR team.
Job Description
As Emplyee Relations Advisor, you will be responsible for:

Supporting disciplinary chairs and employees through investigation and disciplinary procedures. on matters relating to (but not limited to):Timesheet irregularitiesMandatory risk management tasksGeneral conduct matters (eg timekeeping, behaviour etc)Data loss/theftFormal performance management and capability matters
4. Offer employee relations advice on health/wellbeing policies and practices
5. Case handling health and wellbeing cases, including the management of occupational health referrals and income protection benefit activities
6. Case handing non-complex appeals, e.g. appeals against disciplinary warnings
7. Offer employee relations advice on employment policies relating to conduct, health/wellbeing, performance, handling informal complaints, and general employee relations queries. e.g special leave
8. Producing high quality documentation including reports, letters, meeting notes etc.
9. Using the case management system to record accurate and timely case updates for management information purposes.
10. Competently handling sensitive/confidential data to meet GDPR and Data Privacy compliance requirements
11. Working with the ER Service Delivery team to continuously improve data capture processes and data quality
The Successful Applicant
The successful Employee Relations Advisor will have the following experience:
12. Have strong ER experience
13. Previous experience managing a heavy caseload
14. IT proficient in in-house & HR systems
15. Excellent communications skills (written & verbal)
