Next Generation are recruiting for a CNC Setter Operator to work with a leading global manufacturer who produce machined components supplying predominantly into the energy industries. As the CNC Setter Operator you will be responsible for setting and operating Fanuc controlled Lathes & or Machining Centres.

Shift and pay
Hourly rate: Monday to Thursday (18:00–06:00)
Pay Rate: Competitive rate up to £21.75 per hour (£52,000 p.a.)
Overtime: x1.3 rate Monday to Saturday; x1.5 rate on Sundays

Duties
* Editing programs (G & M codes)
* Setting & Operating CNC lathes or Machining Centres
* Carrying out offsets & tool changes
* Altering speeds and feeds
* Monitoring cycle times
* Basic machine maintenance
Experience required
* 3–5 years experience Setting & Operating Doosan Puma Lathes
* 3–5 years experience Setting & Operating 5 axis machining centres
* Checking for defects & quality issues (Essential)
* Ability to manage cycle times (Essential)
* Excellent attention to detail (Essential)
