What You'll Do
The EMEA & APAC Tour Manager – Juniors & Next Gen is responsible for identifying and managing top international junior and next-gen talent to fuel Wilson’s long-term leadership in the sport across both regions.
This role works closely with the Global Tour Director and the broader Tour Team to execute the global racquet sports strategy in EMEA & APAC, with a strong focus on tennis development from the ground up.
The selected candidate will collaborate with a network of national scouts and territory managers, providing training and guidance while influencing local strategy to ensure a strong pipeline of Wilson junior and tour-level athletes. They will manage the transition of top junior players from national to international contracts and work closely with agents, managers, and coaches to provide a superior level of service.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Develop and manage the Wilson Tennis Tour in the EMEA region from the base up.
* Provide strategic support to APAC countries as needed.
* Lead and manage a team of tennis scouts responsible for identifying and signing top national-level junior prospects (U10–U14).
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including agents, coaches, tour academies, and federations, ensuring Wilson is the first point of contact for new talent.
* Train and support Scouts, Sports Marketing Executives, sales teams, and distributors in identifying and nurturing talent.
* Build a calendar of key local and international tournaments for scouting purposes.
* Collaborate with scouts, Sports Marketing Executives, and sales teams to recruit top prospects for international contracts.
* Manage the transition process from national to international contracts with clear communication.
* Handle international contract negotiations and maintain strong relationships with players and their representatives.
* Provide day-to-day support to junior and next-gen athletes, ensuring best-in-class service.
* Support player transition from junior/next-gen to global tour level, in collaboration with the Tour Director.
* Attend major junior international tournaments to identify and sign emerging talent.
* Execute the Soft Goods strategy (apparel & footwear) for juniors and next-gen athletes in EMEA & APAC.
* Support on-site junior player operations at key tournaments, including Grand Slams.
* Collaborate with the Pro Lab team to implement advanced equipment and service strategies.
* Work with the Tour Director to plan and allocate regional budgets effectively.
* Manage endorsement and equipment budgets for EMEA & APAC junior and next-gen players.
* Monitor financial operations including payments, accruals, and interplants.
* Support sports marketing activations at key international events.
* Work cross-functionally at global, regional, and local levels to leverage players in building brand Wilson.
* Ensure athlete alignment with Wilson’s purpose, vision, and values.
* Balance performance and marketability within the player roster.
* Drive brand-building initiatives with athletes, including content shoots, appearances, and activations.
* Monitor competitor activity and share insights with the broader team.
What We're Looking For
This role requires candidates to have a degree in sports marketing, business or a related field along with 5+ years of relevant experience in Tennis either competitively or through coaching qualifications plus 5+ years of experience in sports business, management or marketing within racquet sports or a related field. Please note this role can be performed from Germany, Italy, and Spain, as well.
Other qualifications include:
* Fluent in spoken and written English; Spanish or French is a plus.
* SAP knowledge beneficial.
* Strong interpersonal skills; proven experience in helping and supporting people.
* Problem-solver with the ability to work independently and find solutions.
* Skilled in cross-functional coordination; team-oriented and goal-driven.
* Ability to travel internationally (up to 100 days/year).
