We are seeking an experienced Automation Framework Engineer to lead the development of a synchronized automation framework for closed-loop rig testing. This role focuses on integrating Human-Machine Interface (HMI) evaluation and ensuring precise time synchronization across simulation and hardware platforms for accurate and repeatable test execution.
🔍 What You’ll Do:
* Develop and implement an automation framework to support closed-loop HIL testing.
* Integrate Drive Sim scenario execution with time synchronization mechanisms.
* Automate HMI evaluation and ensure compatibility with existing rig architecture.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate measurement techniques and enhance test infrastructure.
🧠What You’ll Bring:
* Python: Strong scripting skills for automation and integration.
* dSPACE AutomationDesk: Experience in HIL orchestration.
* Vector CANoe & CANape: Proficiency in bus simulation, signal monitoring, and calibration.
* Corvus: Familiarity with data logging and analysis.
* AWS Cloud: Understanding of cloud-based storage, compute, and CI/CD.
* Linux (Ubuntu): System-level knowledge for deployment and debugging.
* Git: Version control and collaborative development.
* Scenario-Based Testing: Hands‑on experience with NV DriveSim 2.0, dSPACE ASM, or IPG Carmaker.
* Background in HIL testing and automation framework development.
* Strong understanding of time synchronization across platforms.
* Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
