What You'll Do

* Prepare a selection of sandwiches (e.g., cheese, egg, tuna, vegetarian options) for our social lunch sessions.
* Bake or bring cakes, traybakes or simple desserts for participants to enjoy.
* Follow basic food hygiene guidance (we will provide support and training if needed).
* Work alongside staff and volunteers to set up food for serving.
* Help create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where people feel welcome.
* Support our mission to reduce isolation and bring people together.

* Someone who enjoys preparing food and sharing it with others.
* Friendly, reliable and happy to support a community focused session.
* Comfortable volunteering once a month.
* No professional cooking experience required, just enthusiasm and kindness.

Important details

Hours available:3hours per week

When:2nd Wednesday of each month, 10am 1pm

Location:Fairfield Church, Windsor Close, Northwood HA6 1PD (occasionally we may have to change venue)
